1 Overview

The DC410 smart manhole Sensor with liquid level measurement is specially designed for the detection of well covers which need water, sewage level measurement .

When the well cover shift, open or other abnormal situation appears, the device can timely alarm output to the use to indicate the current situation or status.

Furthermore it detects the liquid /solid level in the well and upload to the cloud server while alarm level triggered.

Through the built-in NB-IoT module, the detector can pass status information to the NB-IoT base station, network server, then the application server. Users can remotely monitor the manhole status, whether moved after installation or not. This

equipment can be widely used in smart city projects.

Based on low-power algorithm, internal battery can work for more than 3 years. The IP67 waterproof level can meet stringent requirements for use and make it for use long life.

Web/App has been build by CNDingtek Technical Staff through this Web/App you can monitor your device and check status any where any time.Through the Web/App you can also change the sensitivity of device.But still this app is in Chinese with in sometime it will also available in English version.

8 Protocol and API Interface

The communication protocol(API Interface) is confidential is only open for customer  who has purchase the device and sign the NDA(non-disclosure agreement) file with CNDingtek and his own Company. Please contact our sales team service@dingtek.com if you want to integrate the protocol/API with your own system.

 

9 Installation & Test

9.1 Activating Power of Device

Remove the packing of  device from the package and the default built-in battery is not connected; Please open the top of the sensor and connect the battery with the sensor. The led lights on the sensor circuit board then go out, which indicates that the device starts.

9.2  QR Code Scanning

If the users build their own Web/App, please then skip Web/App section and go directly to configuration the network server according to the device information.

 

If the user use the CNDingtek platform, please run the mobile application and scan the QR code function to upload the device information to the server.

 

Please use the CNDingtek smart manhole cover management APP (or CNDingtek which includes the function of manhole management) to scan the QR code on the back of the device and click to upload.

NOTE

The ID, location, and other information of the device will be uploaded to the cloud.


Please note: the phone needs to turn on the GPS function at this time, and the location information of the uploaded location information is that of the phone's.

9.3 Installation

The device is recommended to fix the device to the well cover.You need to prepare the drilling tool to punch holes, then screw the device with the well cover firmly. Please make sure the hole location is close to the hole cover to facilitate so that  the wireless signals can be send or receive  easily.

9.4 Management

 After the device is energized, the information will be uploaded to the cloud for the first time. It will then be reported to the cloud when a shift is detected. Users can monitor the manhole through CNDingtek's smart manhole cover management Application.

11 Problem Solving

No data received

Battery not connected

while shipping rules, usually the battery is not connected with the PCB board. Please open cover to connect the battery with PCB board or remove the magnetic part to power on the battery.

No signal covered

NB-IoT is not covered in the local network

NB-IoT frequency or APN is not correct

Different countries have different NB-IoT  networks, like 800/850/900/700Mhz,etc.Please confirm whether the frequency or APN is correct or not.



NB-IoT  server is not in the supplier's white list

Some vendors limit server IP addresses. Please make sure your own server is on the white list. Or use the vendors server directly.

Data Receive but not Correct

Not updated protocol or API

Please contact our company to obtain the updated protocol or API interface after NDA has been signed.
